Helping People….Changing Lives

CHAUTAUQUA OPPORTUNITIES, INC.

The Mission of Chautauqua Opportunities

…leading the fight against poverty by mobilizing resources and creating partnerships to promote empowerment, economic independence and opportunities.

Website Survey

At Chautauqua Opportunities, Inc., we are dedicated to providing opportunities and services to individuals and families in need. In an ongoing effort to meet customer needs, COI strives to make use of our newly designed website to inform individuals about the services that we provide and the impact of poverty in Chautauqua County, and we encourage individuals and businesses to support our mission. We would like to know what elements of our website are important to you and how well we are providing the information you seek. We would appreciate your assistance in filling out this short survey and letting us know how we are doing.

Your response will make a difference. Thank you for your help.

Tips to reduce Holiday Stress for the Caregiver:

• Make a Wish List: Honor your needs and express to your circle of family and friends what they can do for you!
• Plan Ahead: Make a list of things you need to get done with due dates and allow others to help lighten the load. Communication with family on who’s doing what for a holiday gathering can ease the pressure, knowing it’s a group effort.
• Be Flexible: Sometimes family traditions need to change to make it easier on your loved one’s care schedule and comfort zone. Don’t feel guilty.
• Be Creative: When budgets are tight and the thought of gift giving causes anxiety, consider simple, priceless gifts from the heart. An extra copy of a special photo of a loved one to give to family members is a good example.
• Reflect and Enjoy: Sit back and take time to reflect on and appreciate the blessings in your life.

Happy Holidays!!
