Helping People….Changing Lives

Between January 16th and the 18th, Chautauqua Opportunities, Inc.’s Interim Chief Executive Officer, Diane Hewitt-Johnson, attended the 2019 Management & Leadership Training Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This training, sponsored by the National Community Action Partnership, focused on inspiring Community Action Agencies from across the country to be the “Voice for Change”.  Topics such as Racism, Immigration, and Equality were discussed, as well as Advocacy, Leadership and Reinvestment into our Communities.

Ms. Hewitt- Johnson participated in many workshops that were offered at the Conference, bringing back hope and new ideas for Chautauqua Opportunities to use not only within COI, but also within the community.

While there, Ms. Hewitt- Johnson was able to network with community leaders from across the country, as well as those from within New York State.
