The MOMS/First Steps Prenatal Support Services Program is
designed to help pregnant and post-partum women achieve the best possible
birth outcomes for their babies
Provides early access to Medicaid and prenatal care for
pregnant women with enrollment into Medicaid Managed Care or Medicaid if
applicable. Some commercial insurances accepted.
Works in conjunction with providers of Prenatal Care
throughout Chautauqua and neighboring Counties.
Services include Prenatal Health Education, Case
management and Assessment, HIV Pre/Post-test Counseling and Testing,
Childbirth Education Classes, Home Visiting for those that qualify and
referrals to other support services as needed.
Facilitated enrollment into the WIC Supplemental
Nutrition Program for the Family/Child Health Plus Facilitated Enrollment
Insurance Program.
All services are confidential and are offered at all 14
WIC Clinic sites throughout Chautauqua County.
Program is linked to the Breast Pump Rental Station and
the Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Programs.
