PROGRAM: Managed Care Educators

Description of Program/Service Provided:

Provides education on health access through managed care to the Medicaid population in conjunction with Department of Social Service (DSS) offices.

Program goal is to enable the client to make informed decisions in preparation for mandatory Medicaid Managed Care.

History:

              Initially funded through Chautauqua County DSS in 1998.

Eligibility:

              All Medicaid recipients.
