Summary:   Provide clerical support to Child Care Council and supervisor.  Maintains orderly procedures of all matters pertaining to the work of the service area.  Coordinates and provides support to all.

Minimum Qualifications:  High School Diploma or GED required; AA Degree preferred. Strong interpersonal and team building skills are needed. Computer, phone and filing skills required. Must have a current valid NYS driver’s license with the ability to travel throughout the county.  Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications:  Complete Community Health Worker Program curriculum training.  Must attend other education and training programs to develop and maintain skills.  Have the ability to complete referral forms and maintain accurate documentation in case records.  Strong writing skill to complete adequate documentation.  Strong inter-personal communication skills.  Creative problem solving and creative thinking skills.  Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel throughout the county.  The ability to work a flexible schedule.  Bi-lingual (preferred but not mandatory) 

Position Title: Migrant Outreach Specialist

Pay Grade: 5

Class:  Regular Full Time

Positions Available:  Dunkirk

Summary: Intensive outreach with one to one contact and intense case management services to develop in-roads to migrant seasonal workers and their families.  To initiate program participation and foster trusting relationships with the workers to ensure service delivery. To ensure that all aspects of grant expectations and outcomes are met.

Minimum Qualifications: Extensive knowledge and understanding of the migrant seasonal farm worker population in the community. Must speak fluent Spanish.  Ability to relate to the migrant population.  Must have knowledge of resources available to families in the county and have the ability to access these services.  Must have valid NYS driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the county.

Position Title: Housing Rehabilitation Coordinator

Pay Grade: 7

Class:  Regular Full Time

Summary: Full-time positions in Jamestown . Oversees the daily coordination of rehabilitation programs.  Assures all contracts and agreements are signed and are within program guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:  Associates Degree preferred; or 5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Solid working knowledge of construction and energy conservation techniques and theory.   Strong interpersonal, communication and customer relations skills.  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 40 feet.  Valid NYS driver’s license required with county wide travel

Position Title: Administrative Assistant Youth Services

Summary: Assures the implementation and integration of Head Start Performance Standards by enhancing education and literacy services for the child and family. Provides early childhood and parent education services. Servers as an active member of the COI team by supporting the COI and Early Care and Education mission.

Minimum Qualifications:  Associate’s degree in Human Services required, with a concentration in Early Childhood Education; Bachelor’s degree in Education preferred.  One+ years experience working with families or in an educational setting required.  Excellent organizational skills, as well as, written and verbal communication skills are required. Ability to establish and maintain a positive relationship with people from diverse backgrounds. Ability to establish cooperative relationships with outside agencies and professionals. Bilingual abilities are beneficial.   Must be able to maintain substantial, individual supervision of children. Must be able to obtain and maintain SCR child abuse clearance and clear criminal conviction record. Summary: Performs any combination of following instructional tasks in the classroom to assisting teaching staff in establishing and maintaining a learning environment according to performance standards and program curriculum by performing a variety of tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:  High School Diploma or GED plus one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, mandated. Must obtain CDA credential and work towards obtaining an associate’s degree, with an Early Childhood Certification. AAS degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Computer skills required. Must be able to obtain and maintain an SCR Child Abuse Clearance and have a clear criminal conviction record, as well as, health physical (biannually). Must meet OCFS training requirements and maintain an OCFS training log. Must be able to maintain substantial, individual supervision of children. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license and the ability to travel throughout the county.  Must have reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record. Must be able to occasionally lift 50lbs and have a flexible work schedule.
