COI Consolidating North County Services

 

DUNKIRK – Chautauqua Opportunities, Inc. will be consolidating its north county direct services from the West Courtney Street location to the Connections North location on 10825 Bennett Road in the town of Dunkirk effective Thursday, January 27, 2005.

 

COI Executive Director Roberta Keller said, “COI is aware of the transportation burden many of our customers face.  We are trying to facilitate better access for our customers and allow our services to partner through co-location.”

 

The following services will be moving from Community Action North on 17 W. Courtney Street to Connections North, 10825 Bennett Road:

  • Emergency Services
  • HEAP (Energy Assistance)
  • Section 8 (Rental Assistance)

 

Other services that are also located at Connections North include:

  • Facilitated Enrollment
  • Maternal & Child Health Services
  • Head Start/Early Head Start
  • Child Care Council
  • Homeownership/Budget Counseling

 

The Home Care office will remain at its present location in Community Action Center North on Courtney Street in the city of Dunkirk.
