Chautauqua Opportunities Inc. Honors 10 Year Volunteer

Chautauqua Opportunities, Inc. Home Care Program recently honored retiree, Elvin “Butch” Dutton, for over 10 years of voluntary service to their Quality Improvement Committee.

RN Home Care Manager Ann Massar said, “Butch has been a longstanding, dedicated volunteer for this committee for over 10 years, and we greatly appreciate the contributions he has made to the group. His input and experience brought many new ideas and suggestions, lending to our continuous effort at quality improvement. He will surely be missed.” Butch was presented with a COI shirt and a Certificate of Appreciation.

The committee, which meets four times a year, is an advisory group which reviews policies pertaining to the delivery of health care services provided by the agency and recommends changes in such policies to the governing authority. They also conduct a review of the safety, adequacy, type and quality of the services that are provided.
